The groovy gang are back with their friends…
Lauryn
A firm favourite with the Groovy Arts Club crowd & tonight we can hear her enchanting songs served with a twist of violin strings. Enjoy a melodic cocktail of harmonic vocals and floaty guitar.
BLENKO
Becky Blenko, known as the energetic front woman of the band Anna’s Bones, has recently made waves on BBC Introducing with her solo singles ‘Through Your Teeth’ and ‘There There There’. Members of BLENKO, Thom Hollyer (bass), Pete Kent (guitar) & Olivia Roberts (drums) join Becky for the band’s debut performance, which we are delighted to host at this Groovy Arts Club night.
Closing the evening will be hosts:
The Groovy Arts Club Band
Mark Hull on guitar; Marcel McClarnon on bass; Jon ‘Eddie’ Edwards on drums & David G.A. Stephenson on lead vocals & harmonica. Known for their entertaining & enthusiastic sets (most recently at Dublin Castle, Camden), the ‘Groovies’ celebrate 1960s/70s Art & Music. They have just released the mini-album Starla Beads, which is available on all digital platforms.
