The Groovy Gang are back! With some groovy friends…
The Vincent Vega Band – “the oldest but cutest boy band in Shoetown (Northampton0”. A lo-fi alt-urban folk trio, influenced by I am Kloot and Belle & Sebastian. Signed to White Elephant Records, we’re Lucy to have them playing for the Groovy Arts Club Night!
Supported by Lauryn Dobinson – a local “going places” singer-songwriter, who draws inspiration from even the most (seemingly) innocuous experiences. She has a deep connection with her music; her performances are an outpouring of emption and take inspiration from Joni Mitchell and the whole Laurel Canyon Vibe”.
The night is then ended with none other The Groovy Arts Club Band themselves, a four-piece band, with new drummer, Eddie, (from punk band The Vibrators) and bassist Marcel (one half of Manningtree’s Mel & Marcel). The usual exciting, entertaining and energetic set is to be expected, with songs celebrating Leopardskin Nuclear Bombers and Mojo Filters!
Tickets are available from the bar £10 each or 4 for £30!
